Kempenhaeghe Events

Op zaterdag 10 oktober neemt Kempenhaeghe deel aan de Epilepsieloop 2026, een initiatief van EpilepsieNL. Met deze landelijke sponsorwandeling vragen we aandacht voor epilepsie en halen we geld op voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek.

Kempenhaeghe organiseert een wandelroute van ongeveer 7 - 8 kilometer die start vanaf de hoofdlocatie aan de Sterkselseweg 65 in Heeze. De wandeling voert langs het centrum van Heeze en door de bosrijke omgeving. 

De epilepsieloop is veel meer dan wandelen. Met deze loop vragen we aandacht voor epilepsie en meer onderzoek en innovatie omdat we vanuit het dagelijkse werk binnen ons expertisecentrum zien hoe groot de impact van epilepsie is. Samen lopen met collega's, patiënten, families en omgeving geeft een gevoel van verbondenheid en ook het lotgenotencontact is echt waardevol. Samen maken we het verschil. Loop jij ook mee?

On 19 March 2027, Kempenhaeghe brings together researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, technologists, educators, industry, municipalities and other partners to explore how science and technology can shape the future of epilepsy, sleep and neurocognition care and contribute to better health, wellbeing and learning. 

With the needs of patients, clients and learners as our starting point, we will explore how advances in science and technology can contribute to better diagnostics, treatment, monitoring, support and learning. What does the evidence tell us, what have we learned, and where do we need to go next?
