Academic Center for Epileptology

In 2000, the successful cooperation with the Maastricht University Medical Center started, which led to the foundation of the Academic Center for Epileptology in 2012, bringing together patient care, scientific and educational activities.

University of Technology Eindhoven

Technology plays an increasing role in our lives. Since 2010, we have a strategic cooperation with the University of Technology Eindhoven (TU/e), focused on the intersection of health and technology. June 2018 saw the start of the Eindhoven MedTech Innovation Center (e/MTIC), a cooperation between the Catharina Hospital, Maxima Medical Center, Kempenhaeghe, Philips and the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). We hope to speed up innovations through these types of partnerships, where applications in the clinical practice are always key.

Academic Network Sleep Medicine

In 2016, we entered into a cooperation in the field of respiratory and organ-related sleep disorders with Maastricht UMC+ and CIRO, expertise center for chronic organ failure. As the Academic Network Sleep Medicine, we offer advantages to patients, research and education. The network also offers opportunities for the structural transfer of know-how, for instance in the educational offerings for medical specialists.

SEIN

In December 2017, the cooperation between Kempenhaeghe and the Stichting Epilepsie Instellingen Nederland (SEIN) in Heemstede/Zwolle was intensified. We already cooperated in the Leerhuis Epilepsie and the Landelijk Werkverband Onderwijs en Epilepsie (LWOE).

In addition to the structural partnerships, Kempenhaeghe also maintains close ties with centers in the Netherlands and abroad for consultations and the exchange of information.
