Anti-epileptogenesis, where are we?
The purpose of this session-on-invitation is to be a brainstorm between clinicians and basic scientists with an interest in epilepsy aiming at directly exchanging research findings from the bench to the bedside. Scientists will be offered the opportunity to present and discuss on the state-of-the-art and recent findings in the field of (anti-) epileptogenesis, to interact over the next steps to be taken to translate laboratory results into practical diagnostic or treatment tools for patients with epilepsy and to network for further research initiatives. Clinicians from epilepsy tertiary referral and academic centres as well as all major basic research groups active in the field of epilepsy in the Low Countries are expected to attend.
