Core team and fixed route
Patients with common care needs will follow a so-called care pathway at epilepsy centre Kempenhaeghe. Care pathways are provided by designated fixed core teams. A core team consists of several specialists who examine the patient and discuss their findings.
Examinations and tests are efficiently scheduled in a fixed time path. These joint forces result in optimal diagnostics and advice. You as a patient, your referrer and any other persons involved will be informed univocally about the results of the examinations and tests. Thus, everybody has the same information. This will prevent fragmented and contradictory advices.
